It's official, I'm a blogger. A Blogging Bookworm if you will. Ever since I was little, I have always viewed Books as my close circle of friends. One minute I was on an adventure to save a Princess from a wicked Stepmother (they can be nice you know!) and the next I was hoofing it along the African Plains with the Sun burning my back. So I suppose it was natural that I would spend a lot of my time making up stories when I found myself daydreaming. Which was all the time. Recently, I've started taking it seriously and for once in my life, actually finished a book. Seriously, I typed "The End" and everything.
This book which is like my baby started off like all of the others: I would come home from work, raid the fridge and then surf the Internet until I was zombie-fied (is that a word?) with boredom and then I'd open a word document. Not even thinking about what I was doing, I would just start typing whatever came into my head then after about an hour I would get bored, save the document and file it away in the labyrinth of My Computer where it would nestle happily for 9 months!
About 3 months ago, I stumbled across my appropriately named "Stories" section of My Computer and found the story again. I read through the 5 pages and then decided on a whim to continue it, eventually ending up with about 12 pages. Work then took over and I spent the majority of my time: sleeping, eating, working and sleeping. Sleeping is top of the list in my favourite thing's to do but 2 month's ago I had a bit of a meltdown and decided "Stuff it, I'm going to go and grab life by the horn's!"
So I did and I have: I've finished my book and after a couple of week's deliberating and finding friend's who I knew would give an honest opinion of the book, I loved it so much that I sent it out to around 10 literary agent's in the UK. Being a doe-eyed dreamer when it comes to reading books, I thought that after reading some drivel, mediocre, good pieces of literature amongst the Epic Stories of the Years, Agents would be quite excited to receive my submission!
So far, I've had 4 replies, each a nicely-worded No about how they're not enthusiastic enough or they don't think they could place it successfully on my behalf.
Most people would be pretty bummed about this but not me, I'm staying positive! I am just glad that they took the time to REPLY! This Reflective Bookworm isn't going to give up! As I get more replies from Agent's, I'll put up a brief synopsis of my book in the hope that some of you out there in the Blog-osphere will be intrigued by it.

I love to hear what you all think so don't be shy about leaving a comment :D
Also, this is an award-free zone so while I really appreciate it, there aren't enough hours in the day to pass it along. Thank you anyway!
